One of the most popular consoles in our hire stock, the DiGiCo SD8 is a rider-friendly large format mixing console, capable of mixing up to 60 mono or stereo channels into 24 buses and a 16×12 output matrix. It comes with a large number of high quality internal effects, including Dynamic EQ, multiband compression, and analogue tube emulation. The SD8 is designed for use with an external I/O rack to provide the bulk of its I/O, and comes with 8x XLR in and out for use at FoH.

Versatility is the name of the game with this console. Stealth Digital Processing, along with floating point Super FPGA technology, are present just as they were in SD7. The updated SD8 exhibits genuinely world class performance at a great price, appealing to engineers and production managers alike

At the heart of the desk’s worksurface is a 38cm, hi-res LCD touch screen. This user-friendly interface means any bank of 12 faders can be assigned instantly as input or output channels – resulting in the ability to use all 36 main faders to control inputs if desired. Similarly, any bank of 12 can also be assigned to the screen for fine-tuning purposes.
